Figma to Klaviyo
Figma to Klaviyo: turn an approved email design into a production-ready template
Bring the approved Figma frame into Email-Slicer and get a Klaviyo template back: image slices where the design must stay exact, editable Klaviyo text where copy is eligible, with links and alt text reviewed first. No manual slicing, exporting and re-uploading, and no rebuilding block by block.

How to convert a Figma email to Klaviyo
Figma is one of the design inputs Email-Slicer supports. The approved frame becomes the project your team reviews, and Klaviyo stays the place where the finished template is edited, tested and sent.
- 01
Start from the approved frame
Work from the email frame your team already signed off in Figma. No developer handoff, no slice naming, no asset export by hand.
- 02
Bring it into Email-Slicer
Start a project from that design. Email-Slicer proposes horizontal slice guides and marks rows that can be divided into columns.
- 03
Review the structure
Adjust guides, decide which sections become editable Klaviyo text blocks and which stay as image slices, and complete links and alt text.
- 04
Export to Klaviyo
Choose the Klaviyo account connected through the official OAuth flow and generate the reviewed, responsive template.
Start from your approved Figma design
Create your account, start a project from the approved Figma design, review the detected production structure, then connect Klaviyo only when you are ready to export.

Figma to Klaviyo plugin vs production workflow
A plugin that moves a frame from Figma into Klaviyo solves the transfer. Production teams usually also need to decide which sections stay visual, which copy should be editable, where every link points, what each image says in its alt text, and which client account receives the template.
Email-Slicer treats those decisions as a review step before export. If a direct asset transfer is all you need, a plugin may be enough; if the template has to be right the first time in a client’s account, a reviewed workflow helps.
What stays editable in Klaviyo?
The operator decides section by section during review, so not every part of every design becomes editable text.
- Eligible copy converted into real Klaviyo text blocks
- Image slices for sections that must match the approved design
- Multi-column rows with per-cell images, alt text and links
- The whole template, which opens as a normal Klaviyo email for further edits
Export tips for cleaner detection
- Keep the frame at a consistent width so the detected structure matches the design your team approved.
- Hide annotation and redline layers first — they are part of the design Email-Slicer analyses.
- Keep text that should stay editable in Klaviyo visually clean and separated from complex artwork.
